Inspired by the enchanting evening events that filled their city, they embarked on their entrepreneurial adventure, launching their fusion clothing brand called Gizlii. Gizlii is Turkish for secret, mysterious and exclusive, just like our brand. (The name "Gizlii'' is pronounced as "giz-lee." The first syllable, "giz," rhymes with "fizz" and the second syllable, "lii," sounds like the word "lee." So, when saying "Gizlii," stress the first syllable and pronounce it as "giz-lee.")

During the 90's and 2000's, Labels was my ultimate destination for all my ready-to-wear fashion needs. It was a place of wonder, offering the latest fashion trends with a beautiful blend of east and west silhouettes. However, as time passed, it became increasingly challenging to find such unique and bespoke pieces. We often had to rely on specific tailors to bring our fashion visions to life or wait until our travels abroad to discover those hidden gems.

Thankfully, our mother's captivating charm and extraordinary sense of style had been passed down to us, and we always had a natural flair for designing clothes. Fueled by our love for fashion and a desire to create something extraordinary, we began experimenting with various fabrics and silhouettes. This exciting journey led us to conceive the concept of Gizlii.
